Now that Super Bowl 2015 is officially over its time to pick our top super bowl ads. We have narrowed it down to the top 5 that we liked, but we know that you have your own personal favorites. The ads we chose were either hilarious, meaningful, or had that personal touch that we all like to feel. Yes we are suckers for a tear jerker and so is half of America it seems. These were honestly some very hard decisions to make for us because we feel this is one of the best Super Bowls we have seen in a while!
So the Dorito’s commercial was actually pretty funny this year because the beginning of it is an experience most of us have went through on an airplane. Not wanting to be crammed 3 deep with a bunch of strangers. That is until we see a stranger we would like to sit with and they are not as they appear. Doritos gets the number 5 spot on our list.
We have always loved the snickers commercials so it’s a safe bet as to why this one is on this list. They truly deserve the number four spot with this timeless, yet hilarious, little gem piece they created. Combining the classic Brady bunch we all know and love while starring Danny Trejo and Steve Buscemi. They absolutely nailed it with this little creation.
So this commercial made a profound impact on us because it was not your usual funny advertisement, nor was it sentimental. However, what it did manage to be was profound to say the least. That is why it got the number three spot. This advertisement was based off of a recent even happening earlier in 2014 where a woman called 911 hoping someone on the other end would understand her plea for help. Luckily they did.
Our number two pick goes to the Budweiser commercial for obvious reasons. This commercial was amazing in every aspect, but couldn’t achieve quite the reaction that Dove’s commercial (our #1 choice) did for us. It came so close though because this commercial was also a tear jerker. I mean come on now. You’ve got the lost puppy, the big bad wolf, and the iconic Clydesdale that come to the dogs rescue. The heroic story played out in this advertisement is sure to bring a smile on your face at the end.
Our number one pick goes to this commercial because of how meaningful it truly was. The creators of this one deserve a pat on the back. Father’s make such a monumental impact in our life’s and if you are close to your father, watching this brings back memories from your past as well. This commercial is something most of America can relate to. Our big hearts give this one two thumbs up along with the number one spot. We are now going to hug our fathers. Thank you Dove!
